Mary E. Phillips

Mary brings two decades of experience in design for education at Dickinson + Partners to her work throughout the country. She is a project team leader and has been providing leadership to K-12 special Needs  design team. Mary’s expertise includes Sustainable Design, Educational Specifications, and Facility Planning, with a focus on progressive design of spaces for learning that meet the needs of our changing educational environment. Mary specializes in not only bringing her knowledge and experience to every project, but also facilitating a dialogue between all team members, stakeholders and the community that leads to the optimum results for every project.

Recently, Mary has been major team player in the design and planning along with John Dickinson on the Cave Springs Training Center, Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind, Ohio School for the Deaf and Ohio State School for the Blind.

Active in professional organizations and an expert resource for multiple school systems.
